Vivian Hale Obituary

Vivian Diane Hale, 69, of Rocky Mount, Va., died on Wednesday, July 29, 2009. She was born on September 8, 1939, a daughter of the late Cecil and Vivian Reidy McKinely. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Bill Hale; sons, Gregory Steven Hale and Michael Wayne Hale; and a sister, Sandra Annett Puckett. Diane is survived by her sister, Sue Willis; nieces, Tammy Willis and Michelle Chaires; and nephews, Gary Willis and the Rev. Douglas Greer, O.P. Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2009, from Franklin Memorial Park with Pastor Mike Lawhorn and the Rev. Douglas Greer, O.P. officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 31, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Furnace Creek Baptist Church, 975 Scuffling Hill Road, Rocky Mount. I am so sorry for your loss, I know Diane through shopping at the Goodwill, she was a very sweet, caring woman who reminded me a lot of my own mother, she did tell me a couple of weeks ago that if things didn't go well that it was ok with her, she was ready to go with her family in heaven. You are in our prayers and thoughts and may God Bless you all as you go through these sad, troubling times.
