Wanda & Family:
On behalf of my Dad, Joseph V. Watson (Williamsburg, VA), I would like to extend our prayers to you in the loss of Melvin. My husband and I have joined my brother, Charles (and Susan) in Seneca, SC and moved Dad last Oct 2008 to Seneca. Dad(89)now has bone cancer and needed more help with doctors and being closer to family. Charles is fighting cancer also. I recall many wonderful visits in Roanoke with the family and watching Dad build the heat & A/C system for the home in Williamsburg at the business in Roanoke! I grew up thinking everyone had central air in 1952 in their home! Please give our regards to the extended family members.

Roanoke has lost a wonderful man.
A man who understood and loved his work and his family...wanted no recognition - only the satisfaction of building a rock solid reputation.

His children are a living testiment to the success of his life along with that of his loving wife, Wanda.

You have earned your eternal rest in our Lord.
