I will miss Roger very much at our small church. He was a HUGE part of it. Hebrews 11:1 "What is faith? Faith is the evidence of things not yet seen; the assurance of things to come." May we all have the strong faith that Roger had. May we have the faith that one day we will see him again. I am praying for Our Lord to bring your family comfort and peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with the stevens family.Me and Travis will miss Roger at church, your lafts & joks and the way you carried on with everybody and pick with my boys at church. I know your in heaven with Brandon and love ones along God's side. The Lord needed you and called you home. Roger was so much like a grandpa to me. Always full of praise and thoughtfulness. After hearing of him passing he took a piece of my heart with him. He will always be remembered. He will always have a special place in my heart. And now his heart lies with Jesus. My prayers go out to his family in their time of sorrow and great loss.

Judy and Family, I am so sorry to hear about Roger. I didn't even know he had been in the hospital. I remember the good times we had when Roger helped me with all those estates.
He was one in a million and we will miss him.

Dear Stevens Family: Sorry for your loss. Roger had many friends and I'm thankful I was one of them. Many years ago, we worked together on NS, ran around together and had alot of fun and laughs. Roger was a very fine man. May our loving God hold you now and in the future. I'm praying for you.

Another piece of my heart went with Roger when he died. Roger was and always will be a special person. He and Larry were so much like brothers and I always thought of Roger as my brother he was the best friend anyone could ever have. No matter what his worries were, he always had a smile or a joke. I thank God for Roger and I know he's up there with Larry and Jim Higgs planning a "Heavenly" auction. The chairs will be filled with all the loved ones gone before to prepare a house for them.
My heart aches so, but I'm glad he's no longer in any pain and he's healed.

Hello Benny, Judy, Vicky and families, we are so sorry about Roger. We are going to miss him, and his (the Steven's) sense of humor. I feel truly blessed that the last time I saw him, he was smiling and of course, making us all laugh. This is a trait which made everyone feel so happy and comforted – no matter how you were feeling. All of you have that same wonderful quality and I know he would want you to continue it for yourselves and the rest of your family. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. I am thinking of you and your family at this time of grieving your dad. I will always remember him with a smile on his face as well as all those around him. My fondest memories of him are the times we played baseball in elementary school. I know he will be missed by many. Keep your faith of one day seeing him again and giving him a great big hug! Papaw, I still can't believe you are gone. But I know that your in a better place and your not suffering anymore. But it still doesn't seem real. I know that everyone that has passed on before you is happy to see you and you are once again with your mom and dad. Can't wait to see you again one day. Dear Pop, We all miss you so much! We are doing what you would have wanted us to do. We are celebrating your life here on earth and we cant wait to get to Heaven to see you!
