I met Ricky at McDowell High. We become good friends along with Fred, James ,Dean, Alton and others. Snow sledding, dirt bike riding, football games, it was all good. Washing the duster, then the z-28 and of course the pinto at the gas station his father operated. And then, the Lemon Tree Inn. You see I knew Ricky when we all had God in our minds , but maybe not so much in our hearts. Times were different for sure. Good, bad, it was what it was. So, this is the way I shall remember Ricky. For his family; may your days ahead not be filled with sorrow but with the gladness of knowing your husband , your father, was a young man once finding out who he was, what life was about and enjoying life to the what we thought was the fullest. No anger, no regrets. Life was good.

Mrs. Bolick and Family,
I never met any of you besides Preacher Ricky, but I was very impressed with his preaching and he precious testimony. I never heard him speak that God did not touch me through him. One sermon he preached at our church especially helped me. Of course, I could not tell him exactly how much it meant or how much I appreciated his message, but I did try and am so glad I expressed appreciation to him personally. You are in my thoughts and prayers with love.

I pray that God shows you and your family His love and His power more now than ever. That He will "...give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness..." as he promises in Isaiah 61. God Bless!

Dear Kim, Adam, Charity and Family

I have been praying for you and asking the Lord of all comfort to be especially near and dear during this time of grief.
Numbers 6: 24>26
The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee and give thee peace.
Pastor Ricky was one of the most gifted preachers that I ever heard speak, a true man of God who will be sadly missed.
Jeremiah 31:3 The Lord hath appeared of old unto me,saying,Yea,I have loved thee with an everlasing love:...

Dear sister Kim,

I loved your husband and the father of your children greatly. He was of much help tp me through the years, especially a few years ago when I was hurting so badly. I pray our Holy Father with lessen your grief through the fellowship of the saints and by the power of the Holy Ghost through the scriptures. Please call on me anytime dear sister.

Rev 7:13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
Rev 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Rev 7:15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
Rev 7:16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
Rev 7:17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Ricky Bolick was one of the finest men who ever lived on this earth. His heart was big enough for the whole world, he helped everyone. When brother Rick preached you could feel the winds from over in glory roll by and people jumped out of their seats. He will never be forgotten and will be missed more than anyone could ever know.
Heaven surely is rejoicing in his return but we are forever left with a huge whole in our hearts.
God bless Kim and the rest of his beautiful family. May He hide you beneath his wings and keep you safe until you join brother Rick again.
