Lala Hull Obituary

Lala Quesenberry Hull, 97, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Radford Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born July 13, 1912 to Alverta and Lafayette Quesenberry in Carroll County, Va., Lala was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters, as well as her husband, Ivan Earl Hull. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Alva Duncan, of Radford; granddaughter, Deanna Duncan McRoy and husband, Alec; and two great-grandchildren, Zack and Maddie McRoy, all of Roanoke. Also Surviving, one sister, Ollie Quesenberry, of Dugspur; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Radford Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center for the loving care given to Lala during the last five years of her life. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday September 8, 2009 at Kurmit Quesenberry Cemetery, Dugspur, Va. The Family will receive friends Monday September 7, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at DeVilbiss Funeral Home. Arrangements by DeVilbiss Funeral Home.
