Authur Hill Obituary

Authur Tip Hill, 47, of Bristol, Va. went home to be with the Lord Friday, September 4, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Hill was a native of Alexandria, Va., then he moved to Florida, where he lived for 11 years finally settling in the Bristol area 13 months ago. He was a graduate of T.C. Williams High School and had attended Euclid Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother, Mary Robins Muthard; one daughter, Beth Smith, of Florida; one sister, Brenda Rosa Zumwarde, of Sicklerville, N.J. Also surviving are four grandchildren, one niece and one nephew. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2009 in the Akard Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery Lebanon, Va. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at the Akard Funeral Home. E-mail condolences may be sent to the family at [email protected]. Akard Funeral Home 1912 W.
