Tillie B. Edelman

Tillie B. (Terry) Edelman, 90, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Tuesday evening, September 8, 2009. She was the retired owner of the B & G Grocery, and was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Edelman; and a sister, Helen Kletzky. Surviving are two daughters, Sally Ann Edelman (Richard), of Roanoke, and Suzanne Marie Proctor (Dave), of Winthrop, Mass.; and a grandson, Matthew Proctor, of Winthrop, Mass. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2009, from the graveside, Beth Israel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2009, at Oakey's North Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimers Disease, Roanoke/Salem Chapter ADRDA, 2728 Colonial Avenue, Suite 2, Roanoke, Va. 24015.
