Doris St. Clair Obituary

Doris Gay St.Clair, 58, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2009. She was predeceased by her father, George M. St.Clair; and son, Douglas Beckner. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Virginia Parks St.Clair; son, Perry Jones Jr. (Tina); daughters, Sandra Ray (Clinton), and Lisa Jones; grandchildren Perry Jones III, Michael Jones, Virginia Spradlin, Cassie Ray, Eden Elkins, and Mackenzie Jones; sisters, Yvonne Lubosch, Ruby Haynie; brother, David St.Clair; special friend, Larry Black; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2009, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2009,in the Valley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Kesler officiating. Interment to follow at the St.Clair Family Cemetery. Special thank you to Good Samaritan Hospice. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Valley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1609 Peters Creek Road, N.W., Roanoke, Va., 540-562-1182.

We are so sorry to hear of Doris's passing. She was such a blessed lady here at Melrose Towers. We will miss her tremendously. She was a true and loving person who enjoyed life! Our condolences Go out to the Family. We were blessed to have as a resident here at Melrose Towers.
