Betty Karnes Obituary

A very special lady has peacefully left us to be with the Lord. Betty Jo Karnes, 68, of Bedford, Va., died on Monday, September 14, 2009, at her home. She was born in Abingdon on December 18, 1940, a daughter of the late Charles W. Dunn and Ardelle Harless. In addition to her parents, Betty Jo was preceded in death by one brother, Lewis F. Dunn. Betty Jo was survived by her husband, Jimmy L. Karnes; three sons, Briant Campbell and his wife, Beverly, Barry Campbell and his wife, Angela, and Byron Campbell and his wife, Nicole; seven grandchildren, Chase Campbell, Lauren Phillips, Kolby Campbell, Hayden Campbell, Rylee Campbell, Avery Campbell and Makayla Beam; one brother, James W. Dunn; one sister, Shirley D. Pector and her husband, James H.; and a dear friend and special care taker, Jacqueline Bosher. JoJo you will truly be missed, Love Jimmy and Jackie.
