I was so sorry to hear of Harold's passing today. I wish I would have known so I could have passed on condolences personally. I feel priviliged to have known Harold and Harman as well. They were a pair together. Harold was a wonderful man and a wonderful father I'm sure. He cared so much for H.D. and I enjoyed getting to see them around town once in a while. I enjoyed being with him every day while he was recuperating at Springfield. God bless you all. Holly

Dearest H.D. and Debbie,
Gordon and I are so sorry for your loss. Harold has always been a hero of ours. I have so many fond memories of Harold, Beulah, and H.D. from my time in Giles Co. teaching. I speak of H.D. often as a star pupil of mine when I first started working with these most choice students. I am still blessed to be teaching high school students with high needs.
We cannot make the trip for the funeral service on Sat., but our thoughts and prayers are with you. I have stopped in a few times at Elm Tree to visit with H.D. I will do that again the next time we come to WV to visit family.
A very big "Hello" to HD from the Johnstons (including Chad, go WVU football!)
If there is anything we can do for you, please just let us know.
