Bessie Eads Obituary

Bessie Katherine Eads, 81, of Blacksburg, Va., and formerly of Pulaski, Va., passed away on Monday, October 5, 2009. Born on June 14, 1928, in Pulaski, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Ollie Moore Kemp. Her husband, Warren K. Eads Sr.; and son, Danny Ray Eads Sr.; also preceded her in death. She is survived by here sons, Douglas K. Eads and wife, Linda, of Draper, Va., and Donald W. Eads, of Hollister, Mo.; daughter, Deloris A. Raines, of Blacksburg, Va.; stepson, Warren K. Eads Jr., of Winston Salem, N.C.; brother, Archie Kemp, of Pulaski, Va.; sister, Pansy Wimmer, of Floyd, Va.; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor John Wertz officiating. The family will receive friends after the service until 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Humane Society of Montgomery County, P.O.
