Betty Claire Little Hull

October 6, 1926 – October 6, 2009 Betty Claire Little Hull, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2009. She was born in Carnesville, Ga., and was always a good student. She graduated from high school at 15 and UGA Pharmacy School Magna Cum at 19. She became the head pharmacist at the largest hospital in Atlanta. She worked in several pharmacies ending her career at the Salem VA. A long time member of Hidden Valley Country Club, she enjoyed fellowship by playing golf and bridge. She was an active member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. She was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, George Hull. She is survived by her four children and their spouses, George and Gwen, Phil and Pegi, David, and Kathy; her grandchildren, Jason and Janie, and Jon and his children; her sister, Sybil Rainey; and her four legged "grandchildren," Miss Mollie, Samantha and Blackie. Visitation will be held at Oakey's South Chapel on Thursday, October 8, 2009, between 5 and 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. on Friday October 9, 2009, at Covenant Presbyterian Church. Interment will be private. The family would like to thank Pheasant Ridge especially Brandie, Theresa, Denise, Ian and all the nurses on memory care. Also, thank you to our dear friend, Susie, that helped Mother so very much. We would also like to thank our wonderful friends at Good Samaritan Hospice for the excellent care provided to our Mother especially Jean, Ashley, Amber, Pam and Beth.
