Dear Becky, Hard [for me] to believe that it had been 10 years! I seem to be unable to keep track of time, these days. We are 10 years closer to seeing Glenn again; his sweet smile, tender heart, ... I did not forget you and Glenn --- Tons of wonderful memories! One of my favorite songs comes to mind: "Leaning on the Everlasting Arms." Don Ohanehi

Dear Becky,
Glenn's passing was quite a surprise to me. I remember at the college reunion how happy the two of you were. I really enjoyed going to your wedding in July 1999. I remember it being a beautiful time. I know that the ten years you were married were ten of the happiest years of your life!
Love,
Eileen

Dear Becky,
I know we have spoken on the phone but I also wanted to take the opportunity to tell you how sorry we are for your loss. Glenn was a wonderful guy and you were truly blessed to have him with you even if only for a short time. We certainly enjoyed the times we spent with both of you at our UMW reunions and also when we all visited with Mary Grace in Baltimore. We will continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Demetria & Doug

Dear Becky,
My heart goes out to you on the loss of your husband Glenn. God works in mysterious ways, so he must have a very special reason for needing Glenn so soon. May you gain strength from your faith and know you will meet again some day for eternity. You know your friends are here if you need us.

Becky,

I'm sorry only to be writing this just now...My heart goes out to you in the loss of Glenn...you two were truly soul mates. Even though we met only a few times, I enjoyed very much being around him...he was never just a hubby hanging all at the college girls' get get-togethers. He really endeavored to know Bob and me personally...he was very intelligent, witty, and personable, and I feel blessed for having known him. I know that Bob greatly enjoyed their conversations together.

You have truly been an inspiration at this time, see your faith in God only grow stronger at your time of deepest sorrow...you are truly an amazing lady and cherished friend.

Steve, Ken and John,
I am deeply sorry to hear about Glenn's passing. Though I did not spend much time with him, save for our "near-successful" summit of Mount Adams, I remember him as a decent human being. Small words, I admit, for such a life accomplishment. My thoughts and sympathies are with you, your family and his friends.

Becky and family,

My heart goes out to you. The only comfort I can take from this tragic situation is knowing Glenn is in Heaven. With that comes a little bit of jealousy because I know he is re-living those old battles to see what went wrong. You see ever since childhood we talked about that, about how cool it would be to be up there and see history unfold right before our eyes. To witness events the others only could read about.

Someday Glenn, Someday I will be there with you and we will have a few debates I can assure you.

Becky you are a blessed person, I wish we would have all had more time with Glenn but God is having his way here for some reason. May God give you the strength to continue on and thrive.

Dear Becky,

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time. It's a shock to think of Glenn being gone. I've known him from the earliest days that I can remember and he's always been that solid, steady, faithful friend.

The interesting thing is that several weeks ago I was thinking of you and Glenn and the last time you stopped by to see Sylvia and I a few years ago. It was Sept/Oct and I was doing my yearly patio repair. Ever since then during that time of year, I'd always be reminded of our last visit and the great fellowship we had.

I don't understand why things happen the way they do in life. The one thing I do know is that Jesus is always with us in the good times and bad. May His perfect peace keep you!

Dear Becky,

I am so sorry for the loss of my cousin, Glenn. When my sister and I were little , he always had time to entertain us at the farm. I remember him pushing my sister,Heidi, and I around the farmyard in the wheel barrel. He was never to busy to share his time with us. He will always be remembered with love and fondness.

Sincerely, Tammy Foote

Dear Becky

I am so sorry for your loss. This was such a shock and my heart hurts for you. Your Dear husband is the same age as mine and that is a scary feeling. Dear Becky,

"The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms."

Still feels like a dream to me. I am in a Squires classroom, right now, and it feels like Glenn would pop in, any minute, like he used to. He'd popped a week ago, but I did not realize that that was a goodbye.
