To the Preston Family,
Milton,Bernard,Janice and Bren my heart goes out to you all. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. When I saw Michael he was always smiling and laughing. Talking about his family and church. I will truly miss his smile and warm heart. I will like to bless the family with this poem:
To Those Whom I Love and Those Who Love Me
When I am gone, release me, let me go
I have so many things to see and do
You must not tie yourself to me with tears
Be happy that I have had so many years
I gave you my love, you can only guess
How much you gave me in happiness
I think you for the love each have shown
But now it is time I traveled on alone
So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must
Then let your grief be comforted by trust
It is only for a while that we must part
So bless the memoriss in your heart
I will not be far away, for life goes on
So if you need me, call and I will come
Though you can not see or touch me, I will be near
And if you listen with your heart, you will hear
All of my love around you soft and clear
Then, when you must come this way alone
I will greet you with a smile and a
"Welcome Home"

My heart is so deeply saddened by the loss of such a good young man. I remember the days Michael and I would sometimes laugh and say crazy things that always left a smile on my face. Milton, be strong because Michael would want you to, Bernard, the memories of Michael are right there in your heart don't shed tears of sadness but ones of joy because that is what he brought into our lives. Janice, my best friend I know my words will not ease the pain you feel but I know prayer will help carry you through GOD is right there he will never leave you. Brenda, I know your heart is heavy full of saddness and pain too but know that GOD will comfort you he'll embrace you in his loving arms to help you find peace in knowing Michael is up there smiling with him. May GOD bless each of you! My thoughts and prayers are with you......

I am saddened by the loss of such a fine man. Michael affected many lives so positively. What a gracious and caring spirit was he, and was always delightfully encouraging. Michael will be missed, yet he would want us to continue to live well.

Michael was a man who touched my life the moment that I met him. A gracious, funny, humble man who brought life to conversations and light to the room.
Michael also made a significant - positive - impact on the residents and staff of Carriage House with his no nonsense, straightforward, yet caring approach.
Michael was a good man... a decent man...
A man who already is sorely missed.
Rest well, my friend.

Family and Friends,
This is a very painful loss, but Michael would want you to BE ENCOURAGED by the words of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
“Miguelón”, “Mi Hermano” was my College roommate, my brother and best friend since 1992. He could be best friend to many and that made him an even greater human being. We could be transparent with each other and spoke, prayed and laughed as late as a couple weeks before he rested.
Michael has left and indelible footprint in each of our lives, and the memory of his counsel, love and care will forever be with us.
Looking forward to the resurrection

My friend and mentor you will be missed but always remembered. You taught me so much over the short period of time that we knew each other. Because of you I can say I am a stronger man. Forever I will hear you saying to me, "What does that have to do with the price of tea in china?"
Job well done, now it is time for you to rest.
