Edith Reynolds Obituary

Edith Robertson Reynolds, 77, of Narrows, Va., went home to be with her Heavenly Father surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 14, 2009. She was born in Narrows on March 3, 1932, and was the daughter of the late Cora Robertson. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Edward Tinsley Reynolds; and a daughter, Deborah Christine Reynolds. She attended Cornerstone Pentecostal Holiness Church in Narrows for several years, and was a loving mother and grandmother. Left to cherish her memory are a son, David Reynolds and wife, Patricia, of Narrows; three grandchildren, Derek Reynolds and wife, Tiffany, of Fairfax, Adam Reynolds and wife, Erika, of Pembroke, and Andrew Reynolds, of Narrows; three special "grandchildren," Dustin Trent, Jessica Trent, and Candace Martin, all of Narrows; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and many special friends. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2009, in the chapel of Riffe's Funeral Service in Narrows with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. Burial will follow in Angels Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Riffe's Funeral Service on Friday, October 16, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. The family requests that those sending memorial contributions, please consider the Giles County Relay For Life to benefit the American Cancer Society.
