Richard O'Brien Obituary

Richard Francis (Buddy) O'Brien, 70, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Monday, October 19, 2009. A veteran of the United States Air Force, he was an employee of the state and city in the Roanoke City School System. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva O'Brien; and two sons, Leonard and Kevin Wright. Surviving are his children, Diane, Antoinette, Bella, Donald and Randall; 29 grandchildren; and 37 greatgrandchildren. The family would like to thank his many friends for the love, care and support given to their father in his time of need. A special thanks to Linda Draper, Ronald and Catherine Wright, along with all his friends that he enjoyed hunting with so much. Services will be private. His remains will rest in peace with his wife, Eva, in Nashville, Tenn. Arrangements are by Oakey's North Chapel and Crematory, 540-362-1237.
