I only heard of Ed's passing yesterday. He was a welcomed member of the architectural community and one that I enjoyed working with. He was one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I knew when I lived in Roanoke. I am only sorry I didn't have the opportunity to become a closer friend.

Judy,
I was so very sorry to hear of Eddie's death. He was truly a wonderful person. Our first year at James River High School was a hard one, but Eddie was always there for me to lean on. I last saw him a few years ago and besides having a good conversation, I was able to tell him how proud that I was of all of his success.
He will be missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Judy and Family, please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of Edward. I was honored to have him as a classmate at James River High, Class of '68. I admired and respected him and enjoyed his company. I have no doubt that he became a fine and successful gentleman. I know this is a great loss to you and the rest of his family and friends.
