Ronald, Joyce, and Daniel:
Words cannot express the loss you are experiencing. I really thought a lot of Wayne and had the opportunity to hunt with him in a few hunts. Ronald, I remember meeting you one time at the hunt in Ridgeland. Wayne thought a lot of you, Joyce, and Daniel and talked of you all often. His family was very special to him. I just talked to him for a long time over at the AKC hunt in Salisbury, NC a few weeks ago. So this came as a real shock to me. I always condsidered him a gentleman and a professional type person.Wayne was a good friend and I always enjoyed talking with him. I will truly miss him. My prayers are with you all. May God richly bless and comfort you all during your time of sorrow. The coonhunting world has lost a great one.

We wish we could be with you on a daily basis to comfort you but please know that you are constantly in our thoughts and prayers. We love you so much.
Wayne, we didn't get to say goodbye- so many things were left unsaid. I hope that when you look down from Heaven you can see how much we loved you and know that you will truly be missed. Rest in Peace Wayne.

I have known Wayne for 22 years. He was a good-hearted and loyal friend. One of my best memories was in 1997 when Wayne went to the beach with me and two other friends. I know Wayne was a wonderful father. My family and I will miss him. May God Bless you with strength during this difficult time. Love and prayers are with you.

I met Wayne in September 09 when he attended the Autumn Oaks Hunt in Indiana. He stayed at the hotel where I work and being the wife of a fellow coon hunter, we took up right away. We invited Wayne to visit our home & of course he and my husband shared coon hunting stories. He and our daughter Ashley also became very good friends. She is grieving the loss of a very dear friend. His smile and gentle nature was evident as was his love for his son and his family. I remember his first night here how he went to his room to get his laptop so that he could share pictures with me of his son as we chatted about family. He truly loved and admired his son. Our deepest and most heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family and to his friends. I am sure he will be missed by them greatly as we barely knew the man he was and feel a great loss but feel blessed to have met such a wonderful young man.

Psalm 23 " The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil,
for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. "
~ I came to know Wayne while he came to a hunt in Indiana. He truly was a terrific man with a heart of gold! I only wish we had more time together. I had planned to come visit , however had not gotten the chance. Although we seemed so far away we were close in our hearts. And he will truly be missed!
May God Bless you and keep you in this terrible time. Please know your family will be in my constant thoughts and prayers.

Mr.& Mrs. Yopp
My sincere condolences on the loss of Wayne (as I knew him). I sold several dog boxes to him starting about 10yrs ago and he was always a joy to work with.He loved to talk about his hunting and he let me know when Daniel was born. He was so proud of his son. I will miss those phone conversations with him. My prayers and thoughts are with you and Daniel. He is in good hands and will never be forgotten.

Mr. and Mrs. Yopp,
I just wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time of loss. I attended Figsboro Elementary with Wayne, and we spent the night at each other's homes, as well as going on camping trips with the Scouts. Those were definitely fun times that I remember to this day. I am sorry we lost touch after your move. I hope you will be able to cherish those memories as much as I do. Again, I am so sorry.

I worked with Wayne in Maryland at the Minor League Baseball club in Waldorf. What a kind and gentle soul. I'll always remember two things about him. Number one is how paticular Wayne was about his truck. It wasn't just clean, it was new car showroom clean. The second is that when he was happy, or when he made a sale, in his best Southern accent, Wayne would say "Hell Yeah." That phrase caught on with the men AND WOMEN in our small office and can still be heard to this day. Wayne may be gone, but his memory lives on.

Wayne played church basketball with me for several years before and after graduation from High School at Glenvar, before I left for the Netherlands.
We lost contact after I left, but he was a good friend. I'm sure he was a great son, father and husband. I'm sorry to learn of his passing and please know that you'll be in our thoughts and prayers.
