My heart goes out to you and your girls. I just found out about Chris's passing and was in disbelief. I know I have not seen you guys in years but remember those days playing volleyball and thinking what a great couple and so respectful of one another you were. My prayers will be with you.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss! I graduated with Chris from Patrick Henry. Unfortunately, I moved away and didn't keep in touch. I remember him as being a really nice guy and lots of fun. My prayers are with you all as you mourn. I pray God will give you peace and comfort.

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of such a fine man. I met Chris when I was a Sophomore at Patrick Henry and he was a Senior. We were both in a technical drafting class, and Chris always (jokingly) chided me for 'cheating' because I could freehand straight lines so well.. Chris was always respectful to me and helpful and always nice.. which is a rarity for Seniors to be to Sophomores..hehe I always remembered Chris for that. My deepest sympathies and prayers go out to all of his family and his close friends.

I still see Chris riding in his little black fiero. Huge smile and laughing.He loved that car!I knew him well back in the 80's and cared for him very much.I am so very ,very sad to hear of his untimely passing.I always knew he would make a remarkable Husband and Father.

Stacey worked with Chris at #7 and I played ball with you on the church league year's ago. I am so sorry that your life is turned upside down so fast. Please remember that our goal on earth is to earn eternity in heaven. Some just get to go sooner than the rest of us. We will mourn and miss Chris but most of all look forward to our great Reunion day!

I haven't seen Chris since high school, but am not at all surprised he did such great things and was a terrific father. I will always picture him wearing aviators, leaning up against a great car on prom night. I wish strength and comfort for his family.

I have never seen Chris without a smile on his face. He was so nice to everyone, and even when he wasn't in uniform, you could tell he was a fireman. The Roanoke Fire Department has lost a great friend, and they will not ever forget him. He was part of a great family. Chris was a very honorable man that showed such love and admiration for his job and his family. I will never forget Chris or stop appreciating how he took me under his wing and helped me find my way in the fd.
I always loved how he lit up at the site of you guys, he was so very, very proud of his family and wanted to insure all of us knew that. I will never forget all of the cheers he would have us watch as little Caroline would dance around the station at 6.....those are some fun and beautiful memories. I am glad I got the opportunity to work with and become 'buddy' to Chris.
