Gosh Mom.....10 years. My heart still hurts like it was yesterday. I miss you every single moment of every day. Now you have Mike with you to keep you company. In my mind, I envision you sipping a heavenly cup of tea while he plays Greensleeves on the guitar for you. I love you both so much. Life changed forever when you left us.

Just thinking about Peggy and decided to pop in to see her wonder face and with Grandpa’s words of wisdom from Peggy I find myself sitting here in tears, the power of words is amazing! Her words are the most beautiful and touching things I have even seen and I will always cherish them deep in my heart. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful thing!

Love always your Granddaughter

Tho I had not seen her in years, she looks just as I remember her in the picture posted here. I remember Peggy as being a kind, sweet woman. I am thankful in knowing she has no more pain..

This is the last entry in Margaret (Peggy) Joanne Stancer`s Journal:

Just close your eyes and you will see, all the memories you have of me - Just sit and relax and you will find - I`m still there in your mind.

Dont`t cry for me now that I am gone - For I am in the land of song- There is no pain, there is no fear - So dry away that silent tear - Don`t think of me in the dark and cold.

For here I am no longer old - I`m in that place filled with love known to you as "up above".

Some of the best memories of my childhood stem from my visits to Virginia to stay with my Aunt Peggy and my cousins, Pat, Toni, and Mike. Likewise, I couldn't wait for their visits to Pennsylvania in the summer. She had a way of making every day special and her love for her family was evident in all she did. I will never forget you Aunt Peggy.

Stan Stancer, K4uek and BBR creator.

It is with deapest sorrow that Ellen and I first learned of Margarets' passing. She will be forever remembered by us. I remember a comment she made at one of the BRR luncheons: "Stan must love me because he lets me drive his motorcyle and he has never let anyone drive it".

We always have remembered our happier times when meeting with Margaret and Stan at all the BRR get-togethers.

Dear Stan,
Peggy will never be forgotten by this wife of a BlueRidge Runner. She made me feel welcome the moment I met her and I loved being part of the Blue Ridge Runners ever since. Thank you for being her dream man and bringing her into all of our lives. We loved her and we love you.

Stan,
No words can express the loss that you must feel. If, as I can't help suspecting, the dead also feel the pains of separation, then for both lovers, and for all pairs of lovers without exception, bereavement is a universal and integral part of our experience of love.
God does give strength and helps you to fulfill the promise of our friend's life also, in our own, to the world.

I'm so sad that you have lost a wonderful, talented, beautiful, caring, and warm loving lady. But her suffering is over. I believe we should celerbrate her life, like she would want everyone to do. I thank God I had the pleasure of knowing her, and because of her I have a friend for life, who is Toni.
You will always be in my prayers

I love you Mom.
