Judy Darlene Arnold Camper

Judy Darlene Arnold Camper, 53, of Wytheville, Va., passed away Sunday, October 25, 2009, as the result of an automobile accident. She was born July 28, 1956, in Wythe County, and was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth R. Arnold, and her mother-inlaw and father-in-law, Peggy Camper and Egar Camper. Judy and her late sister, April McAllister, who was also in the accident, were very close. Living next door to each other, they were inseparable. Judy was employed with Hutchinson. She is survived by her husband, Mark Dwayne Camper, of the home; her mother, Virginia Jones Arnold, of Piney, Va.; two sisters, Dale and Randolph King, of Speedwell, Va., Libby and Mark Croy, of Wytheville, Va.; one brother, Kenneth and Kelly Arnold, of Piney, Va.; sisters-in-law, Janet and Bobby Kennedy, of Max Meadows, Va., Ada and Curtis Worrell, of Blacksburg, Va.; brothers-in-law, William Norris and Debbie, of N.C., Darrell Camper, of Rural Retreat, Va., Mike Camper, Jeff and Mary Ann Camper, David Camper and Sarah, Charles Camper and Lorri, all of Wytheville, Va., Tony McAllister, of Wytheville, Va. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 29, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with the Rev. Norman Wilhoit and the Rev. Jason McNeese officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church where the family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. or at the residence of her mother at any time. Barnett Funeral Home, Wytheville, Va., is in charge of arrangements.
