My dear Doris and Shirley,
I am with you as my heart hurts in your loss. I have loved Doug through my friendship with Doris, and all I know of him, he will be "at home" in Heaven! Please know I am praying for you both, and longing to be able to be there to give you a hug. God will give you of His strength. You are precious to me. My love,

Dearest Shirley,
My Heart is heavy with sadness in learning of Douglass passing. You both have been in my thoughts and prayers all day and Table 81 (your favorite), I passed several times today thinking of you both. Not often do you meet warm, friendly, and genuine folks like yourselves...I always enjoyed talking to you all as well as being your server. You all were "special" and always made me feel special in serving you. I felt a connection of friendship and today I told many customers of your loss and mine as well. As a friend. please know that I am here if there is anything I can do for you or help in any way.
My Thoughts and Prayers are with You and your family..
