Larry Berry Obituary

Larry Claude Berry, 61, of Blacksburg, Va., passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Berry; and mother, Imogene (Jean) Boothe. Larry served as a paratrooper in Vietnam. He is survived by his children, son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Michelle Berry; daughters and son-in-law, Angie and Charles Farruggia, Alexis Berry, and Claudia Berry; grandchildren; his step father, Cecil Boothe; brothers and sisters-in-law, William (Bill) and Debbie Berry, James (Jay) Berry, and Theresa Plaugher; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dixie Shelby, Patsy (Pat) Hagy, Lois and Ed Mullins, and Karen and Randy Mullins; nieces and nephews; special cousins, Bryce and Joyce Jerrels, and Kathy and Frazer Dunford. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2009, in the Ellett Valley Church of God with Andrew Berry officiating. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg, Va.

BILLY AND JAY, I WAS SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT LARRY. WE HAD SOME GOOD TIMES GROWING UP IN ELLETT VALLEY. HE WAS SUCH A GOOD PERSON AND ALWAYS HAD A BEAUTIFUL SMILE.I PRAY GOD WILL COMFORT YOU AS ONLY HE CAN.
