Mary Jane,
We are sorry to read about Larry's passing and trust that your lifetime of incredible memories will help you in your time of sorrow. You guys left a big void when you retired out of Vernon and we think of you often. Please let me know if I can ever be of help.

A FEW FOND MEMORIES.
I FIRST GOT TO KNOW LARRY AND MARY IN THE SUMMER OF 2004, AT THE NURSING HOME, AND FOR THE NEXT FIVE YEARS BECAME HIS MASSAGE THERAPIST.
I WILL NEVER FORGET THE GOOD TALKS LARRY AND I HAD, AND I ALWAYS SEEMED LIKE I WAS THE ONE GETTING THE THERAPY.
ONE OF THE BEST STORIES HE TOLD ME WAS WHEN HE AND MICKEY MANTLE DRANK BEER AND PLAYED POOL UNTIL THREE THE NEXT MORNING, THEN MICKEY HAD TO PLAY A GAME THAT DAY.
NEEDLESS TO SAY, MICKEY DIDN'T HIT VERY WELL IN THAT GAME.
ONE OF THE MOST RELAXING AND UPBEAT DAYS I REMEMBER HIM HAVING WAS THE DAY HE TOLD ME HE HAD JOINED THE CHURCH, AND THE CHURCH PEOPLE HAD BROUGHT COMMUNION TO HIM THERE IN BED.
IT WAS SPECIAL FOR ME, THE DAY HE WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL. HE TOLD MARY THAT HE WANTED HIS MORNING MASSAGE FIRST, BEFORE HE WENT INTO THE HOSPITAL.
I THINK WE BOTH KNEW THAT WOULD BE OUT LAST TIME WORKING TOGETHER.
I CAN ONLY HOPE I HELPED TO MAKE HIS LIFE A LITTLE BETTER, AS I KNOW HE DID MINE.
