I am his daughter's co-worker and I have to say she is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I never met her father, but he certainly produced a wonderful, caring, kind person with a heart of gold. My condolences go out to her dad and the family.

Irene, Rhonda, Larry and Family,
I am so very sorry that I could not make it to the service. Wayne was a very kind person, quiet and ALWAYS smiling. He was such an inspiration to all. I remember the good times in Bonsack and the first time he ever played music on TV on the Panorama show. They played an Allman Brothers Band song. I wish the family reunions could have continued as we have lost so many dear family members. I had to laugh when Missy mentioned him stepping on Spud's duck. I don't guess we'll ever forget that!! Always keep him in your heart and cherish the memories. Bodie also sends his sympathy. Luv you all..

To all our family and friends,
Thank you for your love and support during this difficult time. Wayne was a unique, wonderful brother and best friend that will live in my heart and soul forever. The memories we shared and pranks we played bring a smile to my face every day. Love, Rhonda

I knew Waynhe from the early 60's when he worked at Hammond's Printing. My Uncle Al used to tease him about his long hair saying, "That's the ugliest girl I've ever seen." Wayne would just smile and say, "I like it" and continue locking type into frames for the letterpress. I first played keyboards with Wayne at Papa Joes in the 60's, then later in Dazzle. I will always treasure fond memories of Tuck. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I'm a better person for knowing Wayne! Wayne hired me to sing in his band "Dazzle" back in the early 80's. It was a great experience for me to have the opportunity to learn from a seasoned veteran. He was a great friend and mentor! He touched my life and I'm sorry I never got to thank him for all he did for me! He will be greatly missed but let us keep his memory alive! My thoughts and prayers will be with the family and I'm so sorry for your loss!

We are so sorry to hear about Wayne. He was my dad's cousin and we always kidded him about stepping on my dad's duck. He would always smile when we said that. He will be dearly missed.

Wayne's family,
I knew Wayne in our younger days thru music. Wayne was a good friend to me then and I have great memories of our time "playing" together. Back then it was "playing" and Wayne made it fun! Wayne touched many of us and will be missed.
God bless you

Aleah and family,

Words cannot express how I feel. It was an honor to know Wayne. Even though he and Evelyn divorced a long time ago I still felt like he was part of our family. Aleah, I know you were his world and I know he would be very proud of the way you have handled everything that has been thrust upon you at such a young age. Just remember Uncle Ronnie and I will always be there for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
