Billy Jennings Obituary

Billy Wade Jennings, 72, of Hillsville, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2009, at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows. Mr. Jennings was born in Carroll County to the late Harrison Leonard and Amanda Gray Jennings. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Wright Jennings, of the home; sons and daughter-in-law, Terry and Teresa Jennings, of Hillsville, and Dennis Jennings, of Hillsville and his friend, Deanna Arnold, of Wytheville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mildred and Paul Norman, of Hillsville, Edyth Earwood, of Asheville, N.C., and Alma and Cameron Easter, of Cana; sisters-in-law, Beverly Jennings, of Burnie, Md., and Eula Jennings, of Hillsville; grandchildren, Ethan Jennings, Lauren Jennings, Levi Jennings, and Melanie Jennings; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2009, at Vaughan -GuynnMcGrady Chapel at 6:30 p.m. with the Rev. Michael Shockley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday night beginning at 5 p.m. until service time. A graveside service will be held on Monday November 9, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Liberty Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Joy Ranch in Woodlawn, Va., or to the Giedons. A guestbook is available online by visiting www.vaughanguynnandmcgrady.com. Vaughan -Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
