James Barrett Obituary

James Henry Barrett Jr., 57, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Friday, November 6, 2009. Mr. Barrett is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Kevin W. and Sadie J. Barrett, of Roanoke; grandchildren, Drannan Altizer, Jacob Gillespie and Dallas Barrett; brothers, Charles Mitcham, Harvey Barrett, Ralph Barrett, Wayne Barrett and Richard Barrett; and sister, Agnes Carroll. A graveside funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at Fair View Cemetery with the Rev. David "Mickey" Derrow officiating. Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, 540-982-2100.

We are so very sorry to hear about James. He will be missed but not forgotten. There are many things that could be said right now but I know that nothing is going to make it any better but time.
