Dear C.W. and Liz,Your mom was such a sweet and interesting person to talk with. I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to get to know her while she was living at the Elks Home. I'll always remember our talks together, and will always miss her. May God give you his peace and comfort. Take care and God bless. Kathy McCoy

Birtie was truely a lovely Lady with a soul that was ever so beautiful. She always carried on Taylor's life to the end. I spent time with here later in our life and only reget we didn't meet sooner. She taugh me so much about my family and Taylor. I called him Uncle Jackie. The times we chatted and had lunch were such events that I so looked forward to. She just inspired everyones life for the better. She certainly knew the world around her especially the war years. I learned so much she would have been a great teacher. To the family her spirit will always be a treasurer to you.
