PaPaw Charlie,

Dylan and Megan will miss you terribly and never forget all the special memories they have shared with you from horsey rides through the hallway on your back with Dylan cackling so loud to feeding your Meggie Love Vanilla ice cream on your lap when she was barely able to sit up. You took such delight in all the kids and they will carry you around in their hearts forever. We love you. Your Lenny, Crystal, Dylan Jared and Meggie Love.

Dear Rhonda,
I was sad for you and your family when I read the news. The same day (24 yrs. ago) November 15th, 1985 my dad also went to be with the Lord... I understand the loss and pain you feel. However, please know that "our" dads are in heaven now, and we will see them again! Time does heal the pain, but you never stop missing them! You and your family will be in my prayers! Love in Christ, Tammy Keith Doss

I remember so many great times, when the boys were home and would tease me and Becky. Charles will be missed. I loved him. I know Mom will have her arms open to give him a welcome in heaven. May the Lord be with you and comfort you knowing that he is still with loved ones.

I am sorry that I did not get to come and see you Uncle Charles, as my life seemed more important & so busy. I regret not letting you know I have thought about you continually as we faced this demon of cancer with Daddy, too. Your suffering was long and I know one day someone will find a cure for this terrible desease. Rita, Charlese, Rhonda, & Lenny will forever be blessed with memories of a Husband, Dad, & Grandfather who made everyone laugh. You will always be remembered for your pretty smile, signature "one liners", and a zest to live the life you chose to live, without regret. Our family will never be the same wihtout you. We loved you and will miss you deeply. May Peace and Strength be will you Rita, Charlese, Rhonda, & Lennny. Never let your memories die. With my deepest sympathy & love, Pam Moore-Hughes & Jeff.
