Rosemary James Obituary

Rosemary D. James, 75, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2009. She worked at Timber Truss in Salem. Mrs. James was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband, Al James; two sons, Terry James and Tommy James and wife, Mary Beth; two grandchildren, Olivia James and Isabel James; and a sister, Anna Morris. Those preferring memorials, please, consider Northminster Presbyterian Church (Memorial Fund), 3911 Greenland Ave., Roanoke, Va. 24012 or the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Road, Roanoke, Va. 24018 or a charity of one's choice. The memorial service will be held 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2009, at Northminster Presbyterian Church. Rev. Todd Hester, Dr. David Kirk and Rev. Robert S. Wells will officiate. Private interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2009, at Oakey's North Chapel, 540-362-1237.
