Katherine Bull Obituary

Katherine Leitch Bull, of Snellville, Ga., and formerly of Hampton and Roanoke, Va., passed away at home with her family by her side on November 7, 2009. She was born on the Eastern Shore of Virginia in 1920. She lived in Hampton, Va., most of her life until she moved to Roanoke to be closer to her sister, Louise, and daughter, Dotti. Two years ago she moved to Snellville, outside of Atlanta, to live in her daughter, Karen's home. Katherine was a kind woman who loved children and helped to raise many along the way. She was a founding member of Bethany United Methodist in Hampton, Va., and attended South Roanoke United Methodist Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is also survived by her two grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; brother, Frank C. Leitch Jr., of Lansing, Mich.; niece, Sandi Thomas; nephews, Barry Burton and Don Leitch; and sons-in-law, Mack Therrell (Karen) and Steve Cocanougher (Dotti). A memorial service will be held, by the family, as a celebration of her life on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. She will be placed beside her husband, Carlton and surrounded by the family that loved her.
