Dorothy Hall Obituary

Dorothy Mae Fulton Hall, 93, of Rural Retreat, Va., passed away Friday, November 20, 2009 at her home. She was born in Grayson Co., Va. on August 29, 1916, the daughter of the late Emory Stone and Mary Reedy Stone. Dorothy was a member of the Fulton United Methodist Church, was preceded in death by her first husband, George Fulton, her second, Charles Rush Hall, five brothers and is survived by two nieces, Barbara Hale, of Princeton, W. Va., Nancy Taylor, of Roanoke, Va.; stepson, Charles Hall and wife, Lois , of Huddleston, Va.; special friends and caregivers, Kay Mitchell, Linda Cox, Gladys Johnson , all of Rural Retreat. Several other nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, November 23, 2009 at the Rosewood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with the Rev. Ruth Anne Henley officiating. Interment will follow in the Rosewood Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Lindsey Funeral Home Monday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service. Lindsey Funeral Home, Rural Retreat, Va., is handling the arrangements.
