Alice Marie Bennett Lee

Alice Marie Bennett Lee, 62, of Blue Ridge, Va., passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2009. She was preceded in death by her father, Fallie B. Bennett. Mrs. Lee retired as a reading Resource Specialist with the Roanoke City Schools. She was a graduate of Radford University and the University of Virginia. She was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority. Surviving are her mother, Gladys Goff Bennett, of Blue Ridge; daughter, Lisa Lee Broughman and husband, Adrian, of Lynchburg; and cousins, Barbara Reed, of Salem, and Linda Goff, of Alexandria. The family suggests that memorials be made to the Roanoke SPCA, 1340 Baldwin Ave., Roanoke, Va. 24013. There will be no visitation or service.
