James Garwood Link

James Garwood Link, 85, of Natural Bridge, Va., passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, surrounded by his family. Mr. Link was a World War II veteran and retired from James Lees Carpet with over 31 years service. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Hyman and Eva Theodosia Creamer Link; and a son, Howard Clifton "Buck" Link. Survivors include by his son and daughterin-law, Leonard Garwood and Sandra Link, of Buena Vista; daughter and son-in-law, Arlene J. and Andy Hickman, of Natural Bridge; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In accordance to his wishes, Mr. Link was buried within 24 hours of his death in Glasgow Cemetery. Arrangements by Botetourt Funeral Home, Buchanan, Va., 540-254-3000.
