Yvonne Tibbs Morris

Yvonne (Bonnie) Tibbs Morris, 70, of Wytheville, died Friday, November 27, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Grace Pugh Deane, and was preceded in death by husbands, Wade Tibbs and Robert Morris, and her son-in-law, Jimmy "Bo" Brown. She was a member of Mt. Mitchell United Methodist Church. She is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Teresa and James Hayden, of Wytheville, Annette Brown, of Wytheville, Pamela and Roger Pearman, of Dublin; stepfather, Walt Deane, of Kingsport, Tenn.; grandchildren, Branden Tibbs and Courtney Lambert; several stepchildren; stepgrandchildren; nieces; nephews and other family members also survive. Funeral service will be Monday, November 30, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Mitchell United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Wayne Monroe, with the interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 29, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Grubb Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mt. Mitchell United Methodist Church.
