Ronald Wayne Fitzgerald

Ronald Wayne Fitzgerald, 66, of Buena Vista, Va., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 25, 2009. He was born on August 12, 1943, to the late Marvin M. Fitzgerald and Sarah W. Fitzgerald. He was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Drumwright; and a brother, Wallace Fitzgerald. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 46 years, Geraldine L. Fitzgerald; two sons, David W. Fitzgerald and wife, Cynthia, and Stuart W. Fitzgerald and wife, Donna, all of Buena Vista; one daughter, Debra F. Lynn and husband, Robert, of Vesuvius; one sister, Ruby F. Whitten, of Fairfield; one brother, Phillip M. Fitzgerald, of Millboro; nine grandchildren, Brandon Fitzgerald, Ashley Fitzgerald, Sheena Davis, Brittany Fitzgerald, Kara Fitzgerald, Stuart Fitzgerald Jr., Brandon Beverly, Bobby "Bo" Lynn, and Jonathon Lynn; four greatgrandchildren, Jayden, Madison, Zoey, and Cameron; special friend, Carnes "Chip" Mason Jr.; and a special canine companion, "Andi." Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at Bolling, Grose and Lotts Chapel with the Rev. Donald Thorne and the Rev. W. David Bain officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 30, 2009, at Bolling, Grose and Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Va.
