Rhona, David, Tama, and Tonya-
With nothing but fondness and appreciation do I remember your dad. He taught me how to cut a steak properly at the dinner table, you know.
And, of course, beyond that--he was a person proud of his family. You all brought him much delight. Who can forget his laugh?
A man dedicated to his job, your father was a great inspiration to all of us.
I, too, learned of his death only yesterday. But, as Peter said, I was with you in spirit on Monday.
Peace to you all,
love,
Anne

Dear Betty, David, Tama, Rhona & Tanya,
Your husband/father certainly left much to be remembered in Rockbridge County. I always felt that the joy he derived from life was the basis of his success in his career and his relationships with others. He extended me nothing but courtesy and acceptance as I grew up with you; I appreciated it. I did not learn of Saturday's events and today's service in Roanoke in time to be there with you, but then again, in many ways I've never left.
Sincerely,
Norma, Bussie & Darlene Moore
