Joey, Michelle and the rest of your family. I always think of you at this time of year. I believe that the pain never really goes away. We lost my 16 year old grandson, Cameron Lee Oct. 17, and it really hurts so much. They will always live in our hearts, and I know that we'll be together again some day.

Michelle and Joey,
My thoughts are with you today as you ponder the strange thought that Conrad would be a middle-aged man on this birthday. It seems so impossible that our children have been gone for so long,it seems like they were just here. Time begins to bend and lose all meaning the longer a loved one is gone. At some point we will turn the corner and will be getting nearer to them instead of farther away as we become more spirit and less body.
An acquaintance of mine lost her 23 year old son(Aaron Bland) in a car accident today. I will let her know about Compassionate Friends and the love and support available to her there. God bless..
