Gloria Welles Obituary

Gloria Theresa Potter Welles, 87, of Christiansburg, Va., formerly of Enfield, Conn., and Scarborough, Maine, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Franklin Welles; her companion, Robert Huckett; and sister, Anna Mary Murphy. She is survived by her sons, Ronald W. Welles and wife, Karen N. Welles, of Christiansburg, Va., and Jeffrey Welles and wife, Linda Welles, of W. Suffield, Conn.; grandsons, Jason P. Welles, of Seattle, Wash., Adam Welles, of Christiansburg, Va., and Tate Welles and wife, Tammy, of W. Suffield, Conn.; granddaughters, Shannon Welles, of Seattle, Wash., and Dana Laitinen, of Bradenton, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Holly and Adam; granddogs, Frankie and Logan; and grandcat, Steely. A memorial service will be held in Enfield, Conn., at a later date. Donations may be sent to an American Cancer Society or Hospice Care of your choice.
