Bert, Avis & Mary. My thoughts are with your whole families during this season. You know Duck was one of my favorite people and I will miss him. To Donald Jr., Alisha, Mary and Diane,
We all need a time to grieve - quiet time for reflections to shift through memories and come to grips with what has happened.
We need time for tears, not for Duck who is now at peace in Heaven; but for ourselves as we realize that things will never be the same.
We all need a time to just "be" when we can open ourselves to GOD and let the reassurance of His everlasting love start to heal our broken hearts.

To all of the Crenshaw family, which includes my two children, Susan and Chuck. Duck and I had something special between us. We loved each other truely as sister and brother.
He had such a generous heart and infecious laugh. I believe that he is smiling now that he is resting in the arms of Jesus.

To my family the Crenshaw's, I want to say this... Weeping may endureth for a night, but joy comes in the morning. I loved uncle Duck very much and will never forget something’s he has said or done. Alysia and Donald I pray that God give you strength to go throughout your days and know that you will see your father again. He fought hard and lived harder. He was a soldier and will suffer no more. To the Crenshaw family (my extended family), I was heartbroken to hear of Duck's passing even though I knew it was coming. I will miss and treasure all the times we had together, whether happy or sad. Duck was always there for my family during those times. As the days and weeks pass, and as we return to life's routine, may we all continue to feel comforted by the thought that God knew best and he is know longer in pain.
