May you rest in peace dear brother. I will remember the days that we worked together in this life and I know that he will be the angel that watches over all of us, until the day that we all meet in the glory of God's arms. Blessings to the family.

I am truly sadden by the passing of Gervis. He was a joy to know and will be deeply missed.
I worked with Mr. Perkins for several years at DCPS and got to know him well. He was a God fearing man that truly loved the Lord. Over the past couple years, I understand he had been sick. Well, now he is resting peacefully. To his family, you were truly Bless to have him in your life for so many years. Please be at peace by knowing he is with the Lord and no longer in pain. Hold on to the many fond memories you have of him. I know you must have of many of them.

To The Perkins Jr Family,
Gervis and I worked together for many years at DC Public Schools. It saddens my heart but not my spirit to hear of your lost. Knowing that Gervis has truley paid his dues on this earth and now gone to be with God who Gervis always spoke of gives relief to my heart and prayfully to your hearts as well.
Yes, we will miss him but GOD always knows best in every situtation.
You will be in my prayers today and always.
