Mr Beard was one of my favorite patients. He was always in a good mood and always had a smile or a joke. His family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Our family has known Jack for many years. He was a special individual. He always looked forward to getting a birthday card each year. New Year's birthdays are usually lost in the shadow of the holidays. Jack was a hard working man and a true friend to those he chose to share his friendship with. Our sympathies to Jack's family but am glad he will now be able to join Elva once again.

I heard my mother, Helen Smith Mayhew, speak many times of her memories of growing up in Lithia and I recognize familiar names of her cousins in this obituary. She spoke fondly of those memories and she would want me to express her family's sympathy in your loss.
