Pamela and Steve,

I am very sorry to hear of David's passing. He and I were good friends during high school and a few years into college. Life intervened and we never had the opportunity to communicate after 1980. I remember he was always conscientious, honest, open and had a good heart. He was a young man when I knew him and I am sure those qualities I mentioned only increased as the years went on. I hope the good things that everyone knows and says about David somehow help to soften your loss. God bless both of you.

Pam and Steven
David and I go back to high school along with Steve Caldwell. We spent many mornings standing outside the Band Room before school started. Crossed paths on occaission over the years, passing through Hechts and then at Northside again. I hadn't seen him in years and didn't know about the illness. My thoughts and prayers are with you two.

Pam and Steven,
I am so sorry to hear that Dave has passed away. He certainly fought a long and courageous battle and did it with such dignity and good spirit. I cannot believe he's been gone from Hecht's/Macy's for so long. He was always a joy to work with and I have and will miss him.
