Jackie Cook Obituary

Jackie Corbitt Cook, 66, of Salem, Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 9, 2009, after battling liver cancer for the past five months. He is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Katherine B. Cook; a son, Will Goodwin; a daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Jimmy Sutphin; a granddaughter, Casey Sutphin; and sisters, brothers and their spouses, Jean and Jack Huffman, Glenna and Charles Harmon, Dorothy and Terry Thompson, Sue and Mike Kelly, Mike Cook, and Wayne Cook and Renny Bowman. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2009, at Lotz Salem Chapel. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2009, at the funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by Lotz Funeral Home, Salem, Va.
