Georgia Robertson Obituary

Georgie Mozelle Robertson, 86, of Rocky Mount, died Thursday, December 10, 2009. She was born October 17, 1923 a daughter of the late Edward Trent and Martha Moran Sigmon. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, John Wright, Sr. and Lewis Robertson. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, John, Jr. and Mildred Wright, Sandy Level; her stepchildren, Carolyn Perdue, Pam Gibson, Deborah Rakestraw and Wesley Robertson; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Mauth. Funeral services will be conducted from Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2009. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 140 Floyd Avenue, Rocky Mount. www.lynchconnerbowman.com.

Dear John and Mildred,
My sympathy and prayers are with you.
I loved Aunt Mote and cherish the time we spent together. The memories of our youth with the sisters and cousins are precious. I am thankful for the blessed hope of life eternal and I know we will have a great reunion someday. God bless you and your family. Love, Patsy
