Sonny was the only grandfather I knew. I have so many memories of him, the one that comes to mind is driving his van to Ohio to see Terry and Patty and going through WV winding roads while Sock is in the back being thrown from one side to another because she's repacking everying :) This time of the year I always think of waking up on Christmas morning and going to Sock and Sonny's and having the biggest Christmas evening with all the family, that's my fondest memory for Christmas. I loved them so much and I'm so happy to have known Sonny and his family and I'll never forget you!!

My heart goes out to you children and the family. Your dad was one of the sweeter parts of mom`s life and ours. That smile and his funny little ways sure made everyone around him better for knowing him. He sure was wrapped around my heart and my sisters and brothers. Mom will never be the same without him.

God bless you always,

Mary

I am blessed to have know and work with Ernest at RAAP. He kidded with me and said he was hoeing corn there when they built the fence around the arsenal. So,they just kept him. May God comfort you during this time.
