Linda Huffman Obituary

Linda Sue Huffman, 60, of Newport, Va., departed this life at her home on Wednesday morning, December 16, 2009. Born in Sullivan, Ind., on November 2, 1949, she was a daughter of Virginia McNiel Stamper and the late Avory Dalton. She had been attending the Walton Pentecostal Holiness Church. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Benny Huffman; her mother, Virginia Stamper, of Stuart; her sons and daughter-in-law, Rick Craven and Debra, of Riner, Mike Huffman, of Newport, and Jason Huffman, of Blacksburg; her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jackson Johnston, of Newport; her brothers and sistersin-law, Paul and Reeda Dalton, of Belleville, Mich., Bill and Sandy Dalton, of Charleston, S.C., Gary and Carrie Dalton, of Belleville, Mich., and Kenny and Connie Dalton, of Narrows; and her five grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 20, 2009, in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with Pastor Lee Sarver and Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. Burial will follow in the Ross Cemetery in Craig County. Online condolences may be sent to kendallfuneralhome.com.
