Tommy and Betty, I went to RMH to visit your mom this afternoon, but I checked with the telephone in the parking garage and told that she was no longer at the hospital. I had intended to go to Carrington Place, but other things kept me from going. I just looked at the obituaries and saw her name listed. I am going to miss her, the 100 years young lady born on George washington's birthday and died the same day my dad died, Dec. 18. If there is anything I can do for you, PLEASE let me know. I was a regular visitor for the last 3 or so years and had become very fond of her. My visits at Carrington Place will never be the same again. Charlie B. Grisso, Jr.

My sister, Vicki Deppensmith, shared the sad news of your mother's passing. She was delightful to visit with when I visited my mom at Carrington. We could talk about the news and things she was watching on TV. I admired her sense of humor! You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Betty and Tommy,
I was so saddened to read in the paper that your mother had passed away. I lost your phone number and was unable to call you when she went into the hospital. I've been thinking and praying for her. When I came into the room and saw her empty bed, my heart went cold and then was told that she had moved out. I'd asked Carrington to call you and give you my phone number.
I enjoyed knowing your mother immensely even though it was for such a short time. Since my mother was often sleeping, I spent my time talking with your Mom. She was such an inspiration and wonderful woman.
I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Maybe our paths will cross again. When things are calmer, please give me a call. Vicki Deppensmith
