Norma Kwolek Obituary

Norma Kazner Kwolek, 84, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2009. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene Robert Kazner; her granddaughter, JoEllen Kazner; a grandson, James Robert Kazner; a sister, Phyllis Jubinville; and brother, Jack Boston. Mrs. Kwolek was charter member of Colonial Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband, Edmond J. (Ed) Kwolek; sons, David B. Kazner and wife, Carolyn, of Roanoke, Va., James E. Kazner and wife, Mary Ann, of Vinton, Va., and Keith R. Kazner, of Chicago, Ill.; a daughter, Karen S. Riley and husband, Wayne, of Roanoke, Va., grandchildren, Shawn E. Regnier and wife, Kathy, and Lisa Jo Hurd and husband, Jack; and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be held 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at Colonial Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Brent Williams will officiate. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Oakey's South Chapel on Brambleton Ave. from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2009. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Colonial Presbyterian Church, 3550 Poplar Dr., Roanoke, Va. 24018. Arrangements by Oakey's South Chapel, 540-989-3131.

I miss you so much Aunt Norma! You were such a wonderful aunt and mother to me when Mom died and we had her memorial trip to Roanoke.
