I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Mary. She was a special person to me during the all too brief few years that I knew her. She loved to speak about the New River as being "her river" and she defended and protected it passionately. She will be missed by those who understood and loved her.

Mary was the best friend that I have ever had and I will miss her deeply as will everyone else that has ever been in contact with her she was always ready to go that extra mile for anyone.She is where she belongs in heaven.I just wish I had met Mary a lot sooner then I did my time with her was to short.
